Shabeel Bengals is a small cattery in southern New Mexico. The word "Shabeel" comes from the Somalian language and means "leopard." We breed for "glitter" (the ends of each hair shines like gold in the sunlight), "rosettes" (spots of more than one color), thick. shiny pelted coats, personality, and sociability. Our Bengals are raised in the house and under foot. They are members of the family and often travel with us.
